Letter From the Editor
Tatyana Gulko
Issue date: 5/1/09 Section: Features
Dear readers,
After months of hard work at The Envoy, we have come to our final issue of the semester. Our goal has always been to bring you closer to the Hunter College community via thorough investigating, reporting, and writing. This semester, new journalists have come on board with us to help work towards our goals. We even launched our first writing workshop, and hope to keep this tradition every semester. At the same time, I am sad to see some long time, loyal and extremely talented Envoy writers move on as they graduate-I wish only the best of luck to them in all their endeavors. All our current section editors will be staying on board next year. They have all done an incredible job, providing guidance to our staff writers and strengthening their sections to include high quality reporting.
This has been my first semester as Editor-in-Chief at The Envoy, and it has been a learning experience for me. I hope that starting in the fall, we will be able to increase our readership even more, and thus, provide you with even more stories that are integral to keep debate at Hunter rolling. The Envoy will be launching with a new look in the fall. So don't forget to pick up a copy when you get back!
Best wishes,
Tatyana Gulko
